The Sing-Off, Deltones’ Elimination

Thank you EVERYONE for all of the support you’ve given to me and to the Deltones these past few weeks for “The Sing-Off.” We had an incredible time on the show and despite its competitive nature, we made a lot of unforgettable friends and learned many, oh sooo many lessons.

Though I’m back here singing and writing in NYC, most of the Deltones will continue having an impossible amount of fun at UDel and I will be counting down the weeks until I can see them perform their winter concert on November 19th, when I can pretend that I am a college student again… *sigh* (ps. for a killer sigh, check out the end of “Listen To Your Heart” on episode 5.. just sayin.)

For all of the critics - this is all so much easier said than done. I’ve been learning to not let the critic be bigger than the creator, so I do appreciate both the negative and positive feedback as it encourages me to put this idea into practice. You give ALL the groups a little something more to work with; a little more fuel for their fire. So for you, I am also grateful.. really, no sarcasm there. In fact, to whoever made fun of my hair in episode 4 - you were 100% accurate, I just forgot to retweet you. Oops.. my b.

I don’t think I could ever again judge anyone on a reality TV show.. or at least not TOO harshly (there’s some insaneee stuff out there.) This definitely wasn’t the easiest of experiences; it was a humbling one and it’s one I consider myself lucky as hell to have had. We are all STILL baffled by the fact that we were chosen for season 3. We enjoyed and often embraced the challenges that came with each week, even if it meant some all nighters and a few delirious evenings when we fought over which food court to drive to for dinner. (I always voted for the one with the biggest fro-yo selection+free fruit infused water in case you were wondering.. but you probably weren’t)

I am forever proud to be a Deltone and a member of The Sing-Off Season 3 family.

Please keep watching and keep following. There will always be more music.
